From the Telegraph of 16 March 2024: YERBURGH John Rochfort Lt Col (Retd). Died peacefully at home surrounded by his family, on 3rd February 2024, aged 92. Much loved husband of the late Gillian, adored by his children, Toby and Sophie, and grandchildren, Oscar, Edmund and Jemima. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. The funeral took place on 12th March.

He was s of Rev Oswald Rochfort YERBURGH 1900-66 (gs of Rev Richard YERBURGH 1817-51 who was gf of 1^st Baron ALVINGHAM 1853-1916) and Cicely Joan 1901-81 d of Maj Charles Cornelius SAVILE 1856-1939 who m his 1^st cousin (both gc of Albany SAVILE 1783-1831 sometime head of that gentry family f/o Oaklands and his w a dau of Sir Bourchier WREY 7^th Bt 1757-1826) Lorina Augusta SAVILE d 1931. He m 1963 Gillian Elizabeth 1944-2023 d of Derek Plint CLIFFORD 1915-2003 of Hartlip Place, Sittingbourne, Kent by his 1937 m reg Q3 Kent to Betty Norah PIERSON 1917-84, and had a son and a dau as above.
