The engagement was announced 28 April 2009, between Shamus Diarmid
Ogilvy (b 24 Jan 1966), scion of the Earls of Airlie, elder son of of
the Hon James Donald Diarmid Ogilvy (b 28 Jan 1934), of Sedgebrook,
Lincolnshire, by his late wife the former Magdalen Jane Ruth (June)
Ducas (b 2 June 1938, d 3 Nov 2001), descended from the Barons
Mowbray, Segrave and Stourton; and Alexandra Elizabeth Hope March
Phillipps de Lisle (b 12 Jul 1972), scion of that LG family, elder
daughter of the late Julian Peter Alexander March Phillipps de Lisle
(b 2 Feb 1936; d 19 Dec 1993) of Lisle, of Medbourne, Leicestershire,
by his 2nd wife the former Diana Barbara Welchman.

And I see Julian De Lisle's grandfather, Edwin Joseph Lisle March
Phillips de Lisle MP (1852-1920) married Agnes Henriette Ida (d 1920)
dau of Adrian Elias HOPE & Lady Ida DUFF, sister of Queen Victoria's
son-in-law the 1st Duke of Fife

The Duke of Fife was QV's grandson-in-law. His wife was King Edward
VII's daughter.

Lady Ida Huff is also descended from King William IV through her
mother, Lady Agnes Hay, whose own mother was born Lady Elizabeth
FitzClarence.
