He was s of Henry Louis MORRISS d 1963 and as her 1 h Evelyn Valhalla Suzanne 1917-[2013] d of Lt-Col Robert Evelyn Manners HEATHCOTE of London 1884-1970 (2xgt gs of Sir Gilbert HEATHCOTE 3 Bt d 1785, as well 4xgt gs of 3 Duke of RUTLAND 1696-1779, etc) and his 1 w Edith Millicent 1876-1977 d of William WALTON 1831-1917 by his 5 Aug 1874 m (Holy Trinity, Brompton) to Louisa Sophia Bernard c1851-1920 d of Francis Bernard PIGOTT d 1872 sometime head of that gentry family of Eagle Hill and his 1 w Laetitia Charlotte 1820-65 d of Sir Thomas Tyringham BERNARD-MORLAND 6 & final Bt 1791-1883 and his 1 w Sophia Charlotte d 1837 only dau & heir of [Sir] David WILLIAMS [3 Bt (from assumption) or 10^th & final Bt] 1765-98, of Rose Hall (see The Complete Baronetage vol 2 p224 et seq where it suggests he & immediate ancestors were never officially recognised. He is not listed on Leigh Rayment’s website) and as her 1 h Sarah Sophia STANLEY. He m 1967 Marie Diston c1943-2023 d of David SCULL of Philadelphia, USA, no issue.

His father, Henry Louis Lester MORRISS (1914 - 6 IV 1963) was the son of Henry Ernest MORRISS (28 VII 1881 - 19 IX 1951) and his wife (married 1910), Vera Henrietta Ruth SAMUEL (15 XII 1886 - 27 XI 1954), a granddaughter of Sir Saul SAMUEL, 1st Bt, KCMG, CB (2 XI 1820 - 29 VIII 1900).
