Innes-Ker query - Lord Robert divorced?

Michael's link to the Swire-Mavroleon engagement (see Bluey
Mavroleon's death notice here) pointed to a separation and likely
divorce for Lord Robert Innes-Ker, husband of the then twice-married
Katherine and father of two children.

Are they now divorced, still separated, or reconciled?

Together they have faced - and overcome - many obstacles, but after 23
years the marriage of Kevin and Pandora Maxwell is finally over.

The couple are to seek a divorce, and I can reveal that 48-year-old
Kevin, the youngest son of late tycoon Robert, has another woman in
his life.

His new love is high-powered businesswoman Lady Katherine Innes-Ker
[sic: Lady Robert Innes-Ker], the wife of banker Lord Robin Innes-Ker,
younger brother of the wealthy Duke of Roxburghe.

I am told that twice-married Katherine, the daughter of a naval
captain, has been seeing Kevin on and off for some time.

Katherine, 46, has two children by Lord Robin and a 27-year-old
daughter from her first marriage. She is an attractive brunette and
something of a brainbox, having earned a degree and doctorate from
Oxford University.

When she wed Robin, whose family?s home in Scotland is the magnificent
Floors Castle, she said: ?He?s a Lord, but I?m a doctor of molecular
bio-physics.?

Despite her scientific background, Katherine carved out a career as a
media analyst in the City, becoming head of the small companies sales
team at Kleinwort Benson, which is where she met Robin.

She was later appointed a director at SBC Warburg and her non-
executive directorships include positions at housebuilder Taylor
Woodrow and telecommunications giant Fibernet.

Most recently she has moved into television to become non-executive
chairman of Shed Productions, whose shows include Footballers? Wives.

Katherine, however, is cagey about her relationship with Kevin. When I
told her that I gathered she might be setting up home with him, she
told me curtly: ?You gather wrongly.?

Nevertheless, I am told she and Robin, whose marital home is near
Woburn Abbey, Bedfordshire, are estranged and are divorcing.
Meanwhile, although Kevin still sees his seven children, he has moved
out of the marital home in Oxford and into a flat.

Interesting Dr of Molecular whatever, that isn't easy to achieve,
sounds like an interesting person. A Lady Hester Stanhope like
character perhaps?

Interesting certainly, but I was wondering about the divorce.
Especially since the other man is associated with one of Britain's
worst business scandals/scams.
