Thanks Richard.

How odd, two Baronies so similar in name.

Ashbourne
Ashbrook
Ashburton
Ashcombe
Ashton
Ashtown

Can anyone add any extinct ash peerages? I think that West and Ash are the most popular prefixes for hereditary peerages.

Westbury
Westmeath
Westminster
Westmorland
Westwood.

The 5th Baron has established his claim to the peerage.  See Minutes of Proceedings of House of Lords 15 September 2021:

Barony of Ashbourne in the Peerage of the United Kingdom  The Lord Chancellor reported that Edward Charles D’Olier Gibson had established his claim to the Barony of Ashbourne in the Peerage of the United Kingdom. The Clerk of the Parliaments was accordingly directed to enter Lord Ashbourne on the register of hereditary peers maintained under Standing Order 9(4).
