Cohen's first wife- mother of the above- was Judith Alexandra Grace Luard, b. 1899, dau. of Sandford William Luard (see Luard, formerly of Blyborough, BLG 1965), clerk to the Salters' Company from 1902, and Muriel Christian, dau. of Lestocq Robert Erskine (1853-1916), of Binfield Manor, Berks., of the London Stock Exchange, stockbroker, a participant in the first Wimbledon Championship Singles Competition, 1877, and the Liberal candidate for Horsham, West Sussex in the 1906 General Election (where he came second).
