From the Telegraph and Times of 16 January 2018: COHEN  Jeremy Sandford died peacefully on 4th January at his Suffolk mill house. Greatly loved husband of Suki, father of Tom and Lucy, father-in-law of Margaret, grandfather of Vivienne, Annabel and Alfie. Private family cremation, no flowers, but donations if wished to Musicians' Benevolent Fund or Zimbabwe: A National Emergency (ZANE) c/o Hunnaball, 41 Mersea Road, Colchester. Memorial service at St. James Church Nayland on Saturday 10th March at 2:30pm.

He was s of Nathaniel Arthur Jim COHEN (1898-1995) and Judith A J LUARD. He m 1962 Susan Kirsteen (b 1936) d of William le Belward EGERTON (1901-47), scion of the GREY EGERTON Bts, and Angela Doreen Loftus BLAND (1898-1973), scion of the Irish gentry family of that name, and had a son and a dau as above.

N. A. J. Cohen's first wife- mother of the above- was Judith Alexandra Grace Luard, b. 1899, dau. of Sandford William Luard (see Luard, formerly of Blyborough, BLG 1965), clerk to the Salters' Company from 1902, and Muriel Christian, dau. of Lestocq Robert Erskine (1853-1916), of Binfield Manor, Berks., of the London Stock Exchange, stockbroker, a participant in the first Wimbledon Championship Singles Competition, 1877, and the Liberal candidate for Horsham, West Sussex in the 1906 General Election (where he came second).

Judith Cohen m. 2nd, 1937, Robert Henry Skeffington Wynne, of East Knoyle, Wilts., Maj., 9th Lancers, (formerly husband of Alice Norna, dau. of Charles Glennie de Rougemont, of Forest Row, Sussex, solicitor, late of the Straits Settlement Civil Service - 1901, and his wife Dorothy, dau. of the film and television actor Arthur Henry Bromley Davenport 1867-1945, s. of the Conservative politician William Bromley Davenport 1821-84 [see that family of Capesthorne Hall, Macclesfield, Cheshire]) s. of Sydenham Henry Wynne, of the Indian Civil Service, and of Irish origin (s. of John Wynne, of Wynnstay, Roebuck, nr Dublin, Capt. R.A.- see BLGI 1899, Wynne, and BLG 1871, Wynne of Haslewood, also BLGI 1899 Singleton for paternal grandmother's family- perhaps both in later editions according to Burke's Family Index).
