He was s of Henry FORBES 1914-2002 (s of Adm Sir Charles Morton FORBES GCB DSO 1880-1960 and his 2nd w Marie Louise d of Axel BERNDTSON of Sweden) and Pamela Aloysia 1923-2021 d of George Vernon TATE 1890-1955 (gs of Sir Henry TATE 1 Bt 1819-99) and (as her 3rd h, her 1st was 25 Baron DE CLIFFORD, by whom she was m of 26 Baron) Evelyn Victoria Anne c1887-1979 (the actress and 'Gibson Girl' Eva Harrington d of Walter Robert CHANDLER). He m 1973 Rosemary (Rosie) Elisabeth Balliol b c1949 reg Q1 Surrey d of Humphrey John Rodham Balliol SALMON 1911-87 by his 1947 m reg Q3 Kensington to as her 1 h Fiona Mary SHAW 1922-2004 (Lady Rasch, having m second Sir Richard Rasch 3 Bt), and had two sons as above.
