I have been informed that  Geoffrey Somerset, 6th Baron Raglan, born 1932, died on 9th September 2025.
However, I have yet to see any confirmation.

The Wikipedia entry for Geoffrey Somerset, 6th Baron Raglan does indeed that he has died, but does not state who the new Baron is, i believe its his grandson Inigo

Wasn't the present 11th Earl of St Germans aged 12 when he succeeded in 2016? Funnily enough I am his direct contemporary, though I am two years older than him.

If memory serves, I think he becomes the 2nd peer (after the Earl of St. Germans) who was born in the 21st century.

The new hp is his younger brother, Ivo Geoffrey Arthur (b. 2007).  Their late father, the only son of the 6th Baron died in 2012, at 52.

Checking DPB Online, perhaps for the last time (?), there is only one other male (b. 1961) in remainder.

S.S., I believe you're right about the Earl of St. Germans' age, upon his succession.

As of the moment, the page on the title says he died, but his personal page does not.

Here's the post on peeragenews.blogspot.com, so we can assume to see an obituary soon:

One caveat: we've discussed this before, but his source may actually be the postings made here on this Google Group. At least so far he has not announced any independent source.

The Earl of St Germans was born on 4 November 2004 so is yet to turn 21.

Paul, that's the reason I posted the way I did.  I didn't say this was actual proof of his passing, just that we should be on the lookout for an obituary.

So far, I haven't seen anything either, but we will watch to see if one appears.

Brooke.

Hi Isabelle.

Per DPB Online, those three children are indeed the children of Hon Lucy and her husband Richard.
