She was d of Cmdr Hubert Wyndham BARRY 1898-1992 (gs of Sir Francis Tress BARRY 1 Bt 1825-1907, as well gs of 7 Earl of DUNMORE 1841-1907, gt gs of 2 Earl of LEICESTER 1822-1909 and 2xgt gs of 11 Earl of PEMBROKE & [8] MONTGOMERY 1759-1827, etc) and Violet Agatha 1907-94 d of Col Sir Edward Archibald RUGGLES-BRISE 1 Bt 1882-1942 and Agatha GURNEY 1881-1937 scion of that gentry family of Keswick & Bawdeswell. She m 1969 the 4 Baron GLENARTHUR b 1944, and had a son and a dau as above.
