He was born in 1943, son of the Life Peer BARON GLENAMARA 1912-2012 by his 1941 m to Jennie d 2008 dau of Thomas SEWELL of Newcastle-upon-Tyne. He m 1968 Ann dau of Joseph GIBBON of Whickham, Northumberland. No issue of the marriage.
