The new British High Commissioner to Tanzania (new since April 2006
anyway) is Philip John Parham, married since 1985 to Anna Catherine
Giedroyc, a Polish princess with Polish and British ancestry. See

Fitzherbert, daughter of Cuthbert Fitzherbert and his wife Barbara
Scrope, elder dau of Henry Aloysius Scrope of Danby by his wife Maria
Mercedes de Laski [herself of interesting ancestry]. His late
maternal aunt Mary Fitzherbert, later Lady Towneley was married to a
cousin Sir Simon Towneley, stepson of Lord Norman and brother of Sir
Peregrine Worsthorne [their father was Alexander Koch de Gooreynd who
changed his surname several times].
Philip and Kasia Parham have issue seven children - five sons and two
daughters. According to an official site, their children

I believe that Dominic Asquith, late Ambassador to Iraq, and his wife
the former Louise Cotton, had only four children. Is Mr and Mrs
Parham's family the largest ambassador/ high commissional family at
