From the Telegraph and Times of 15 November 2016: DEBENHAM William died on 10th November 2016, aged 76, after a short illness. He will be greatly missed by his wife Birgitta, Oliver, Martin, Nicholas, Charlotte and his grandchildren. Private funeral to be held at Turnerspuddle Church. Donations, if desired, for Médecins Sans Frontières, may be sent c/o Woods Funeral Services, 11a Icen Way, Dorchester.

He was presumptive heir to his nephew Sir Thomas Adam DEBENHAM 4th Bt (b 1971). He m 1974 (Gunnel) Birgitta d of Holger Elis Valfrid HOLMGREN and had two sons, the eldest of whom OLIVER WILLIAM Debenham (b 1976) succeeds his father as hp to the title. (Clearly there's issue from one or both sons, as the notice mentions grandchildren.)

A little bit of digging around with phone book/electoral roll information and then Scotlandspeople site:

Oliver William DEBENHAM lives in Edinburgh and is married to Akiko KOBAYASHI (b. c. 1977). I think they married sometime between 2007 and 2013, but I cannot locate it - maybe abroad, or worse, the children may be illegitimate. I suggest two or three daughters and possibly one son:

Mia Charlotte DEBENHAM b. 2006

Rei DEBENHAM (female) b. 2009

Sarah DEBENHAM b. 2011 (these three all in Edinburgh)

Murray John DEBENHAM, b 2012 Johnstone (which is a bit far away)

Does anybody have any idea who the Nicholas and Charlotte referred to in the notice are?

They don't appear to be children as there are no plausible births with those names, nor do they appear on the Electoral Roll living at the family residence in Dorchester.

Henry - can't answer your question I'm afraid but going back to your 2016 post, Debrett's 2019 has Oliver William and Akiko Kobayashi as unmarried with two daughters Mia Charlotte b 2006 and Rei b 2009
