From the Telegraph of 11 July 2026: Helen Lalage (Gay) (née Buchanan), died peacefully on 5th July aged 91. Beloved wife of the late Andrew, dearly loved and proud mother of Richard, Julia, Jonathan and Catherine and devoted and loving Grannygran. Private cremation.

She was d of Charles William Edmund BUCHANAN c1904-? of Fife by his 1933 m ref 431/24 Forgan to Margaret Amelia SUTHERLAND 1903-98. She m 1957 Andrew Gurney 1930-2018 s of Mervyn Gurney TALBOT RICE 1899-1979 (gs of 5 Baron DYNEVOR 1804-78) and Eleanor Butler Adair c1907-1965 d of Andrew WILLIAMSON 1853-1937 of London by his 1904 m reg Q1 London to Ada Mary BUTLER 1863-1942, and had two sons and two daus as above.
