Sir Roger Joseph CLIFFORD Obituary

Of Christchurch, on Monday, March 31, 2025. Aged 88. Loved husband of Joanna, father of Angela, and Annabel, father-in-law of Nick, and Richie, grandfather of Ruby, Matilda, Flynn, Oscar, Georgie, and Lily. Twin brother of the late Charles, brother of the late Elizabeth (Beep), uncle of Catherine, Charles, Holly, and Hannah.

He was the eldest son of Roger Charles Joseph Gerrard Clifford, 6th Bt. and Henrietta Millicent Elizabeth Kiver. He married Joanna Theresa Ward, daughter of Cyril James Ward and Janet Graham Stevenson, on 12 April 1968 and had two daughters.

On his death the title became extinct.
