Though few details are given, the mention of Kirkcudbright makes it likely that this is Joseph Sasson (LG Family Sassoon formerly of Ashley Park), born 3 Jun 1927. When his wife Betty died in 2017 she was said to be from Kirkcudbright, and Burke's LG says they lived there.
