From the Telegraph of 29 December 2015: WELD Wilfrid Joseph JP DL FRICS of Lulworth Castle, Dorset, beloved husband of Sally and loving father and grandfather. Unexpectedly, but peacefully on 3rd December in Tahiti. Funeral Mass to be held on Tuesday 5th January 2016, Lulworth Castle Chapel at 12 noon. No flowers please. No memorial service. Donations in aid of SOS Children's Villages in Tahiti and French Polynesia, c/o Albert Marsh Funeral Directors, St Michaels Road, Wareham, Dorset.
He was s of Col Sir Joseph William WELD OBE TD (1909-92), scion of the MOWBRAY, SEGRAVE & STOURTON barons, and Elizabeth Agnes Mary (d 1991) d Edmund Joseph BELLORD of London. He m 1st 1955 Joanna Mary (b 1935) d of Brig Robert Angus Graham BINNY CBE and Annette Mary GRANT (1912-) scion of the COVENTRY earls, and had 3 sons and 2 daus. He m 2nd 1968 Eleanor Sarah d of Cdr Alec BACCHUS RN and had a further 2 daus.
