He was the son of Wallis Langdon WARREN (1900-1974), scion of the Warren Baronets (I 1784, dormant 2006) being descended from the 5th son of the 1st Bt, and (m 1934) Barbara CHRISTIAN (d 1990).  He m 1976 Judith Catherine HARVEY and had a s and 3 d.

From the moving tribute by his daughter-in-law Judith he had 10 grandchildren.  His son David  had issue Arlo, Sienna and Lenrose:
