From the Telegraph of 29 April 2014: BUXTON  Sir Jocelyn Charles Roden, Bt, VRD. Peacefully on April 25th 2014. Dearly beloved husband, father and grandfather. Service of Thanksgiving at Holy Trinity Church, Loddon, Norfolk on Friday May 16th at.— 2.30 p.m. No flowers please; donations, if desired, to Fleet Air Arm Officers' Association Charitable Trust c/o Youngs Funeral Directors, Loddon.

He was s of Capt Roden Henry Victor BUXTON CBE RN (1890-1970, 2nd s of 4th Bt) and succ his cousin in 1996. He m 1960 Ann Frances JP d of Frank SMITHERMAN MBE and had 3 daus. He is succeeded in the title by his nephew:

Sir CRISPIN CHARLES GERARD Buxton 8th Bt (b 1958) has yet to establish his claim and appear on the official roll of the baronetage. He is s of Lt-Cdr Gerard St John Roden BUXTON RN OStJ (1927-2008) and Judith Averil CAMPBELL DL (b 1927), scion of the COLGRAIN barons. He m 2006 Diana NAFULA and has issue:

Milo Akizakare Crispin (b 2005) not in line to the title

The new baronet's heir presumptive is his 2nd cousin: JONATHAN Buxton (b 1950) m thrice and has a son and dau from his 1st m.

VRD is the abbr. for Very Reproductive Dudes, I believe.

The third baronet's wife was Lady Victoria Noel, daughter of the first Earl of Gainsborough, whose wife was Lady Frances Jocelyn, daughter of the third Earl of Roden, explaining the names as you said, marquess.
