ultimate aim?

hi ,
very interested in using this - but I'm curious, where do you
ultimately aim to go with this? Do you intend to produce a (fairly)
full featured tool for working with GC-MS files, or will it have a
pretty specific application?

(For instance, it doesn't appear to have any method to rescale
chromatograms?)

Hello Jake,

Peacock was intended as the former, a (fairly) full featured tool for
working with GC-MS file. I am sure there are still features missing
that should be added. I used this app during my PhD research, and
usually added features when I needed them for my work. At this time I
do no longer work in the field of organic geochemistry so my interest
in continuing developing Peacock has somewhat dwindled.

I'll look at feature requests and bug reports, but I can't promise
that I get to them (soon). I hope that by open sourcing Peacock it'd
become useful to others as well.

ok thanks for the info - sorry to hear you won't be developing it, but
like you say, maybe there will be an opportunity for someone else to
do so.
