Sailors,
I intend to depart with my beloved Passport, "Black Prince", formerly "Moonlight". I purchased her in 08' in Jamestown, R.I. from the original owners who had kept her in bristol condition and sailed off and on moorings and slips. She had 250 hrs on the 3GM30fv Yanmar (now about 1450). She has never been a full-time cruiser, but I have sailed her (part-time) along the East Coast from New England to Florida. She is sitting in Florida. She is Coast Guard documented, but not registered in any State
She is ready to coastal cruise or cross oceans with some basic tune ups that would be typical before any distant cruising. It's easier to tell you what she doesn't have (with the disclaimer that I believe anyone could add 100 more "things" to any sailboat). She doesn't have air cond., generator, or water-maker.
I believe she has all the equipment to safely sail anywhere, including Garmin autopilot that sails to compass, or by the wind via a B&G masthead wind instrument, and Vesper dedicated AIS (also synced with Garmin Chartplotter), and 4G Garmin radar synced to chartplotter.
I have attached a few pics including at anchor in Block Island in 2016, and being hauled last month for bottom paint. I will be having new canvas installed, and the brightwork done in the coming month.
She has not yet been listed with a broker. Current asking price is $110,000.
Any interest, please don't hesitate to contact me.
Lou McFadden,
