Coating for P40 sole??

Having spent many hours chipping the iron out from under my nav table, i am now ready to return the teak and holly floorboards. Firstly i will sand the floor area, well the whole sole actually needs to be sanded and painted.....what is the recommended paint/sealer for this job?

Teak and Holly soles use Epiphanes  varnish.  3 coats  gloss, for durability, 2-3 coats Satin.  Sanding between coats with 320 or 400.  Only 1-2 coats on the edges.  Tape the edges while finishing the tops of the hatches.  Then do the final coat of satin on the top and the edges.  Tape around the floor edges when doing the build up.
