Hi All -

Looking to put a tricolor and anchor light on the masthead using the existing two wires. To do this, you need to use a double pole double throw reversing switch to switch to the left or right and reverse polarity to select which light you want on.

Does anyone know of a DPDT reversing switch that will fit into the stock P40 electrical panel so I don't need to buy a new panel and mount it?

Thanks!

Actually, forgot that each of those switches is actually a circuit breaker. Not sure if a double pole double throw reversing circuit breaker even exists? Let alone one that will fit into the existing panel. Ugh.

Just pull up new wires using the old wires.  Get the model with the strobe too.  1. Old anchor switch, 2. New tri color switch 3. New strobe switch.

It’s only about 3 hours in a boatswain chair.  That’s how I did it.

Done.

Depends on the unit!

Could you do two different switches with blocking diodes in line on each wire?

If you find that switch let us know!

If he has only two wires, that wouldn't work.
