My dear disciples,
Please accept my blesssings
All Glories to Srila Prabhupada.

Today is Purnima, the last day of the auspicious month of Kartik and
the day of the second Rasa-Lila of Sri Krsna and the Gopis.

The Ananda Vrindavana Campu describes in details how Sri Krsna and the
Gopis manifested the incredible Rasa-Lila, with the Gopis making a
circle having
Sri Radhika as a centre and Sri Krsna dancing beautifully with the
Gopis. This dance style is called Hallisaka. Different choreographies
appeared spontaneously and Sri Krsna was dancing so fast that He was
simultaneously Sri Radhika and with each and every one of the Gopis.

Yogamaya, Purnamasi Devi, through her mystic power, manifested for the
Gopis the most splendid outfits and ornaments, jewelry, etc, perfectly
adequate for the Rasa dance. Without knowing why, Krsna felt
irresistibly attracted by the Gopis.
Kavi Karnapura, the author, says: “look how expert Yogamaya is in
satisfying the heart of Sri Krsna!”.
Impatient to assist the Rasa dance, innumerable demigods along with
their wives filled the sky with hundreds of celestial airplanes, which
looked like planets floating in space.
The horizon seemed like a huge ballroom full up with the Gandharvas,
Charanas, Kinnaras, Siddhas, Sadhyas e Vidyadharas. The demigods
played various musical instruments to increase the pleasure of Sri Sri
Radha-Krsna.

The demigods threw rains of flowers into the arena of the Rasa dance.
The rhythmic sounds of Sri Krsna’s and Gopis mystic bangles, bracelets
and ankle bells was like a nectar for the ears of the Devatas,
destroying any desire of any other enjoyment.

Propelled by the festive atmosphere and desiring to dance like most
fortunate Gopis, the goddesses of dance and music appeared personally
in the Rasa Dance.

The Gopis were dancing perfectly showing different mudras in
enchanting corporeal poses.

Sri Krsna is the Supreme Lord of the Time. The night extended itself
and became long as Brahama’s night!

Sri Kartik ki jay! Sri Harinama Sankirtan ki jay! Sri Sri Nitai-Goura
and Srila Prabhupada ki jay!

May Sri Sri Radha-Krsna and the supremely fortunate Gopis protect and
bless us. . Hare Krsna!
