Hi Street Teamers!!
I just wanted to introduce myself since I am your local Street Team Leader (along with Allison). My name is Jules and I have been a Paper Route fan for awhile now. Their music helped me through a very difficult time and I am forever grateful to them. Not only that, but those four guys (five if you count Josh, since he's always on the road with them :-) are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet! I've updated my profile on the Google Groups page with a photo, so please don't hesitate to come up and say hello to me at their next show...which, incidentally is coming up really soon:
I will be at the Columbus show for sure, and maybe the Newport show (right across the river from Cincy.) I'd love to meet the other fans and fellow Street Team members!
As far as other music is concerned, I'm a big fan of supporting local music and promoting lesser known names. With that said I highly recommend local Columbus acts: The Receiver, Two Cow Garage, The Lost Revival, House of Heroes, and Hotel Eden just to name a few.
Also I wanted to remind everyone that the Paper Boys will be doing a live broadcast from their Nashville home - where most of Absence was recorded - TONIGHT at 9pm. You can link to the show through their Myspace page:
