Rise of Dhaka: Travelogue Part 14. Dear Folks please read my fourteenth article in daily Sobh. In this piece I have discussed about our visit to the house of Laila Kabir, a social activist and business women and spouse of Mr. Kabir, a Dhaka based journalist and intellectual. That was Mir Hasil’s first time in Dhaka and he was invited by the family of Kabir . I saw both of them with wet eyes and heavy heart when they were parting away. Laila Kabir were hugging Mir Hasil Bizenjo, whose father Mir Ghous Bux Bizenjo was a close friend of Mr. Kabir, a Dhaka based journalist and intellectual. Mir Saheb, Akbar Bugti, Bacha and Wali Khan and other NAP leader used to live in Kabir’s house whenever they used to be in Dhaka for any political activity or constituent assembly session. They were sharing the memories of great time Mir Saheb and other people spent at Kabir’s beautiful house in the heart of Dhan mandi.   I further discussed my work with Afsan Chowdhury on a book on 1971 crisis. Afsan was head of BBC Bangla Dhaka at that time and I wrote a chapter for his popular book on 1971 crisis. Presently he based in Dhaka as Director, Advocacy and Human Rights of BRAC, the world's largest NGO). Book in Sindhi and Urdu languages are about to get published and launched. Regards Zulfi
