‘This monsoon rain has brought much destruction even it has been recorded in district Tharparkar (1370mm) , one lakh people have come from outer districts, two lakh people of the district have been homeless,  , 1,70,000 cattle have been died, 50% of the towns and 80% of the villages homes have been completely damaged, 100% of the barrage side  crops in three Union counsels have been destroyed  whereas 80% of the crop of arid side have been destroyed.

The district government has given fake data to PDMA and we have concerns that UN and other institutions would make polices as per that, said by civil society activist and Chairman of Maroarra Disaster Management Commission Noor Bajeer in the press conference of the civil society which held under the umbrella of Maro-arra coordination council (Network of 65 GOs and NGOs organization) at local hotel here at Mithi.
