Hi there,

This is pure weekend silliness, nothing to do with organising rehearsals, feel free to skip.

This social graph is from some fun at work coming up with public-domain examples for graph drawing, this one is jazz artists who played together:

The geekery is described at https://rocm.blogs.amd.com/artificial-intelligence/graph-layout-gpu/README.html - it's about how fast GPUs are at physics simulations for such ball-and-spoke models, so that made a perfectly respectable excuse to play with this.

Many thanks to y'all for introducing me to so much wonderful music :)
Have a good weekend and Go Hawks!
Dominic

Thanks for that distraction! I was going to comment that I couldn't believe Goodman never played with Armstrong so I read through Wikipedia.

Turns out they did for a movie and attempted a tour together but Goodman didn't like Armstrong's bombastic act and insulted him ending their friendship.

Go figure!
