Hi there Singers - I was out of the country and just got back
last night so didn't get out the usual 3-day-or-so RUSH
Advisory, which is into Orange by now since our next RUSH is
Tomorrow! Easter. This is a Sunday Afternoon RUSH starting
at 2pm, no potluck at all, just sing, sing, sing. We better start
with Easter Parade for us oldies, so if you are too young and
have to look up the words because you never heard of it, try
Googling it (in quotes, like "Easter Parade" ) since that is
a good way to get words to lots of songs. Better, google
"Easter Parade" lyrics
to avoid the Easter Parade movie and other stuff.
But... did you know that there is a verse to that song?

"Never saw you look quite so pretty before
Never saw you dressed quite so lovely what's more
I could hardly wait to keep our date this lovely Easter morning
And my heart beat fast as I came through the door
For ...

In your Easter bonnet ..." blah blah blah.

That Greenfield group I told you about last time met, and it is
going to meet again; here is the scoop from its Mover-Shaker, John:
-----
Area residents are welcome at the second gathering of a new informal singing group, which will focus on rock and folk oldies, gospel , Broadway show, Irish, and traditional American songs.

The group, called the " Be-Boppin-Boomers" , will meet on Tuesday, April 8th, 6:30pm at 15 Abbott Street, across from the Middle School on Federal St, 1/2 mile north of Main Street.

Songbooks with the lyrics of nearly 500 familiar songs will be provided . Guitars and other instruments are welcome, as are all levels of singing ability. Reading sheet music is not required-only enthusiasm and love of singing.

For more information, contact John Berkowitz of Saxtons River Vermont at 802- 869-1778 or john...@vermontel.net
----

So, RUSH friends, I hope to see you tomorrow, at 153 North Valley Road
in Pelham.
