Gordon Kramer will be May 4 Song & Story Swap guest
Please come share in an evening of music and stories at the Pioneer Valley
Folklore Society Song & Story Swap.
Saturday, May 4, 7:00 p.m. at The Nacul Center, 592 Main St., Amherst, Mass.
Singer-songwriter Gordon Kramer will be the featured performer at the May 4
Song & Story Swap.
Gordon Kramer's music reflects a lifetime of evolution through political
protest into spirituality, and expresses his deep commitment to helping to
heal the Earth. His original songs express the breadth of human experience
from outrage to tenderness to joy, often lightening a heavy subject with a
humorous slant on the situation.
Playing guitar and keyboard, he performs with the band River Rhapsody, and
solo with the support of Rob Peck on harmonica and Devin Griffiths on lead
guitar. He is also occasionally a featured soloist with the choral group
Rock Voices.
Check out Gordon Kramer's music at
https://www.reverbnation.com/gordonkramer/songs and catch him performing at
the Song & Story Swap in Amherst on May 4.
The opening round theme this month is "Spirit."
Looking ahead to next month, on June 1 the Song & Story Swap will present
Acoustic Beatles Night. Performers are invited to sign up to sing two songs
by the Beatles or a former Beatle. Sign up by emailing Paul Kaplan at
paulkap...@gmail.com. Learn more at

The Song & Story Swap is held on the first Saturday of each month, excepting
July and August, and is jointly sponsored by the Pioneer Valley Folklore
Society and the Nacul Center (
http://tiaarchitects.com/nacul).
The Song & Story Swap is open to the public, free of charge with donations
accepted ($5 - $10 is suggested). People of all ages gather to share
stories and songs that are traditional, newly written, or of personal
experiences. You can tell, sing, or lead everyone in singing, or request a
