I was searching for information about the nuclear lattice model, when I stumbled upon this "Astrophysical Origins" periodic table, from 2024:


As a person with red-green colour blindness I was impressed by the fact that I could make out all the colours, including in cases where some elements had three colours e.g. He and Li.

While Mark’s database has an earlier version of this table called "The Origin of the Solar System Elements" here…


...the "Astrophysical Origins" periodic table looks to be a cleaner design.

There's also a colour-blind friendly version of "The Origin…" table here…


...although the colour palate strikes me as being quite drab.

An unsatisfactory aspect of all of these tables is that La-Ac are aligned under Ti-Zr-Hf in group 4 rather than being aligned under group 3. The resemblance of the early lanthanides and actinides to the early transition metal groups is therefore obscured.
