It seems to me that The Times of India article lacks depth and context. It reports one person’s skeptical opinion with minimal exploration of supporting evidence or alternative viewpoints.


In contrast, the Harvard Gazette article appears to provide a richer, more nuanced overview of AI’s evolving role in mathematics, showing advances, concrete examples, expert analysis, and balanced discussion of limitations and possibilities.


If one is looking for substance on how AI is actually affecting mathematics as a discipline, the Harvard piece looks to be far more informative and grounded.
