It was my pleasure to serve Perry Park Ranch as a PPMD board member
...even though short since I was appointed in May 2005. I do remain
active, however, in performing Community Wildfire Protection Plan work
for the Metro District and Perry Park Ranch as well as an active member
of Perry Park's Neighborhood Emergency Team (PPNET).

The 2nd Quarter 2006 CWPP training for Perry Park Ranch residence is
currently being planned and will likely happen on a Saturday morning in
mid-to-late June. If all comes together, we plan to have fire
extinguisher training for the general public with usage demonstrations
and "hands-on" use of extinguishers for those attending. We also
plan to have Colorado Fire and Safety in attendance with home use fire
extinguishers available for purchase ...will keep you posted if all
comes together,
Enjoy the Park and be especially careful in using outdoor cooking
facilities this summer ...remember, Douglas County currently has a ban
on any open fires.
