We got an inch of snow last night on top of some slush. It will be
cold again tonight.

The Board has authorized a weather station for the Big D area. Does
anyone have any ideas or concerns about where the pole that will hold
the equipment is located on or about the Big D?

If the meteorologist concurs, I'd prefer the pole be located at the
edge of the Big D, preferably on the side near the stables.

As you know some weather stations are not very attractive. I do not
believe that the station would add to the attractiveness of the D
field.

If the weather station can fulfill the same purpose by being near the
fire station I think that would be the place for it. Also the fire
station and W&S district buildings are in a more protected area as far
as being safe from vandalism.
