North Cowichan (Vancouver Is.) - Mountain access FSRs opening 2021.09.22

This is kind of Gabor's bailiwick however I've been checking their web
site and occasionally calling the head forester. Nice fellow who's
invited calls.

With yesterday's rain I'd wondered if the FSR were magically open today.

No such luck, however since Friday a week ago they've published their
opening date.

(North Cowichan, BC) – Mount Prevost, Mount Sicker, and Grace Road
forestry gates reopened as of Tuesday, September 22, 2020. Forestry
gates on Maple Mountain, Mount Tzouhalem, and Mount Richards are closed
year-round.

They have some time-soaking maps, though beyond getting up high they're
not RF pertinent. I'm only mentioning them in the event there are Map
Mad folks on the list.
