Great EME conditions today.

Now that the moon is further north and no longer obstructed by the house to the east,
there is a definite moon rise ground gain peak here while the moon is between 5
degrees and 15 degrees elevation. I did a quick 'echo mode' test last night at 9
degrees and my own echo return was around -15dB SNR  (due to ground gain on the
signal in both directions, going out and coming back in).

A bunch of stations were worked at my moon rise and moon set 'windows' last night
bringing the total to 45 EME stations logged. These include several single Yagi
stations from NA on their moon set ground gain peak while my Yagi was well elevated
with the moon up to 60 degrees above the horizon. The "Chocolate Fish Award" for "The
Smallest Station Worked" on this trip is currently held by Jussi AA6KJ with his
single 6 element LFA.   His signal was -25 SNR at its best here!

Tonight I'll be on the ON4KST EME Chat page to liaise EME operations from my moon
rise at 06:50 UTC, and will continue as long as there are stations to work.

Then I'll be back again for my moon set 'window' from 15:00 UTC until the moon sets
into the sea at 18:45 UTC.

P.S. There have also been over 700 stations worked on 6m via the ionosphere from all
continents except Antarctica.
