Hello,
Last Friday eve and Saturday morning was a blast! Between 10/6/2 meters I really enjoyed the full meal deal (SSB/CW) provided by the aurora conditions.  This had me also wanting to attempt some digital modes, but I"m unclear to what standard to use with so much distortion.

So with things quieted down, I'm posing the question to the group. What, if any, digital modes should we be using for these types of conditions? Are the additional considerations for transmission timing cycles such as in even minutes for calling east and odd for west?

BTW, off topic, I was great seeing a bunch of members in person at the Stanwood/Camino Island Hamfest last weekend.
As always, thank you ahead for your insights!

My humble opinion.

Half the fun of working aurora is hearing how it sounds.

Take a break from using computers as your ears and join the party on the analog modes during an aurora event.
