Hi

Does anyone know how feasible 3D-printed 910MHz notch filters could be?

im wondering if this is even possible, but would some printed structures + copper paint etc be something that you al think would work?

Jim,
I'm sorry it's taken a long time to respond to your question.

I've built a 3D printed cavity from Thingiverse for testing filament properties.

I sprayed the inside and the cavity opening plate with a nickel-based spray paint.  On first glance it seems to perform well with a microwave RF coupler and measuring return loss on a power meter.

I still have not completed the project to upband my DS815TG spectrum analyzer with tracking generator to run at 10-10.5 GHz in order to sweep it.

Can a WR-79 cavity like this be used as a filter?  I will move forward with this project once my spec-an gets upbanded.  It's clearly worked for the person, possibly a student, that posted it on Thingiverse.
