52 Limited is Portland's only locally owned and operated employment
resource for the creative industry. We are currently engaged with a
client in Seattle looking for fill a fulltime opportunity.
Our client specializes in the development of web enabled applications
for real estate brokers leveraging property listing data. They are
embarking upon our next generation product development cycle with an
emphasis on meeting client needs with a highly usable system. The goal
in this initiative is to enhance the workflow of existing systems and
create new applications with the overall goal of creating an effective,
flexible, and intuitive integrated platform.
In this diverse role, you will contribute to our user-centric design
initiative as a customer advocate. The ideal candidate will have
experience and knowledge in wire frames, process diagrams, and web
analytics. Previous experience in User Interface Design is required.
Experience with CRM or enterprise level applications is highly
desirable. Project management and pre-sales client collaboration
experience including needs analysis, requirements gathering, conceptual
design and prototyping will be weighed heavily. Experience in product
management and marketing is an additional plus.
Hands-on graphic design expertise with Adobe products is required.
Ability to concept and produce production quality graphics is required.
Knowledge of web-ready graphics and optimization to the web palette is
required.
This is a full time permanent position offering salary + bonus and full
benefits.
Work with our team to:
- Research and prioritize user requirements and functional requirements
- Develop information architectures and taxonomies for web based
applications
- Prototype navigation models and interaction designs for demonstration
to clients
- Document functional specifications
- Perform usability testing of proposed designs
Required Skills:
Degree in a related field, such as technical communications,
human-computer interaction, or graphic design
5+ years experience developing interactive products
2-3 years experience as an information architect, interaction designer,
or experience designer
Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
Experience in client services and negotiating business decisions
Experience observing user research and translating user research into
design decisions.
