iMatch Technical Services is a premier Northwest Contingency & Contract
Staffing firm providing Management & Technical staff with expertise in
the areas of: Management,Management Consulting, Data Management,
Infrastructure, Software Development Life Cycle, and Creative Services.
We are currently searching for a Usability Engineer II.

USABILITY ENGINEER II:

DESCRIPTION:

The Usability Engineer II is responsible for using a variety of
research methods in order to obtain user data at both a high level
(i.e. field research & contextual inquiry; workflow analysis; needs
identification) and a detailed level (i.e. testing specific
interfaces). Other primary responsibilities include data analysis,
development of recommendations, and the communication of findings in
both a written report and verbal presentation.


RESPONSIBLITIES:

-Develops comprehensive research plans that provide primary and
secondary research; administers studies, communicates findings in
written and verbal reports, generates action plans and follows up to
ensure issues are addressed.

-Works closely with the usability team to peer-review and provide
feedback on study plans, reports, and presentations, and to research
and report on current industry literature.

-Acts as a usability resource and information source for groups
including UI, Site --Directors, Business Analysts, Customer Connection,
Marketing, RMO, and Technology.

-Represents user needs during requirements definition, project
planning, and UI design.

-Must be able to sit at a desk for prolonged periods of time. Frequent
and repetitive hand and finger motion is required for the utilization
of the computer.

REQUIREMENTS:

* B.S. or M.S. in Technical Communication, Human Factors,
Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, or related social science, or
relevant graduate-level coursework.

* 3-5 years experience using multiple user research methodologies, such
as lab studies, field research, iterative prototype testing, and
surveys/questionnaires.

* Highly organized and extremely detail oriented

* Self-motivated with the ability to work as part of a team

* Willingness and ability to travel both within the US and
internationally (must have valid passport)

* Excellent computer skills.

* Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, HTML

* Work effectively on multiple projects simultaneously

* Must be able to work with a wide variety of people in a professional
and diplomatic manner

* Must be able to work with minimum supervision, using initiative and
good judgment

* Must be Organized
