OVERVIEW:
Your primary responsibility for this position will be to develop
comprehensive research plans that provide primary and secondary
research, including administering studies, communicating findings in
written and verbal reports, generating action plans, and following up
to ensure issues are addressed. This will involve using a variety of
research methods in order to obtain user data at both a high level
(i.e. workflow analysis; needs identification) and a detailed level
(i.e. testing specific interfaces). Your responsibilities will also
include performing data analysis, representing end users in design
discussions / requirements definition, and acting as a usability
resource and information source for various internal groups.
YOUR BACKGROUND:
* 5+ years related work experience
* Experience using multiple user research methodologies, such as lab
studies, field research, iterative prototype testing, and
surveys/questionnaires
* Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and HTML
* Willingness and ability to travel both within the US and
internationally (must have valid passport)
* BS in Technical Communication, Human Factors, Human-Computer
Interaction, Psychology, or related social science, or relevant
graduate-level coursework
