Job description:
Seeking a senior information architect to join our Customer Experience
team. We are looking for someone with a strong background in both
information design and e-commerce to create innovative customer
experiences to support our platform partners, ranging from
consumer-facing websites to innovative multi-channel applications. You
will serve as a customer experience consultant and user interface
designer for our cross-functional client services organization. You
have experience working with third party clients in an agency-like
environment. You are able to quickly evaluate the customer experience
of existing Web sites and, when necessary, perform in-depth heuristic
reviews, assessments of brand communication, and assessments of
existing ecommerce technology, and create a report on your findings.
You understand and are skilled at various research methods used to
identify customer needs, business needs, and brand-related design
issues, and you have experience using your findings to create designs
that raise the bar.

You are able to quickly create site hierarchies, customer experience
flows and generate wireframes. You know how and when to collaborate
with usability specialists, account managers, and Web developers to
create individual features or entire Web sites. You do your best work
in teams and will respect and welcome ideas from partners, business
stakeholders, and technical experts. You are equally comfortable
working within existing templates or creating new templates that can be
maintained by others. You have strong written and oral presentation
skills and feel comfortable interacting with clients and their in-house
(or contracted) design and development teams.

You have a strong understanding of the current ecommerce technologies
and a mastery of the principals of Web design, HCI, HTML, and scalable
dynamic GUIs. Expertise in Visio and Photoshop is essential. You must
be a self-starter, customer-focused, detail oriented, comfortable
working on highly technical teams, and able to handle multiple projects
in a fast-paced environment. You are very good at managing your own
time; project management experience is a plus. You are willing to
travel when collaboration with or presentation to clients are required.
You have a master*s degree in an information design or
communication-related field (Human Factors, Technical Writing, Library
Sciences) or equivalent experience.

Your deliverables will include:
* User personas and scenarios
* Heuristic analyses
* Wireframes (low-fidelity storyboards and detailed page schematics)
* Interaction flows and site maps
* Site taxonomies
* Various client presentations
