Salsa/Bachata Lessons & Dancing Opportunities - Feb. 5 to Feb. 8

Hello Fellow Dancers,

Salsa and bachata classes with Drexel Salsa this Wednesday, Feb. 5 (6 PM to 8 PM), will still be at the Bossone Research Center, 3140 Market Street.    

1.  Wednesday, Feb. 5

What:  West Coast Swing Dance hosted by UCSwing

Where:  St. Mary's Church Parish Hall, 3916 Locust Walk, Penn Campus

Time:  Lesson from 8:30 PM to 9:15 PM; social dancing from 9:15 PM to 11 PM

Admission:  $5 with a student ID; $7 for everyone else; FREE for first timers

2.  Thursday, Feb. 6

What:  Latin Night at the Lodge 

Where:  BlueCross River Rink, 101 S. Columbus Blvd., Philadelphia, PA 19106

Time:  9 PM to 1 AM

Admission:  $5 in advance; $8 at the door

3.  Friday, Feb. 7

What:  Latin Dance (Salsa Party)

Where:  West Philly Ballroom & Latin Dance, 4520 Baltimore Ave., Phila.

Time:  8:30 PM to 12:30 AM (Mini-lessons plus social dancing)

Admission:  $12.  No partner or experience necessary.

If you have a PennCard, you can take Penn Transit (215-898-RIDE/7433).  You could also take SEPTA's 34 trolley.
