Social Dancing Opportunities - Dec. 6 to Dec. 16

Hello Fellow Dancers,

The final Bachata and Zouk classes with Penn Social Dance will take place tonight (Thursday, Dec. 5).  The last class with Drexel Salsa this year will be on Tuesday, Dec. 10.

Thanks to Alex Breitweiser for keeping social dance classes alive at Penn.  

1.  Friday, Dec. 6

What:  Latin Dance Party

Where:  West Philly Ballroom & Latin Dance, 4520 Baltimore Ave., Phila.

Time:  8:30 PM to 12:30 AM (Mini-lessons plus social dancing)

Admission:  $12.  No partner or experience necessary. 

If you have a PennCard, you can take Penn Transit (215-898-RIDE/7433).  You could also take SEPTA's 34 trolley.

2.  Saturday, Dec. 7

What:  Latin Dance Social hosted by Onda Latina

Where:  Houston Hall's Bodek Lounge, 3417 Spruce St., Penn Campus

Time:  9 PM to 1 AM

Admission:  $5 with a student ID; $8 for everyone else

3.  Thursday, Dec. 12

What:  Latin Dance at the Lodge

Where:  Blue Cross River Rink, 101 S. Columbus Blvd., Phila., PA 19106

Time:  9 PM to 1 AM

Admission:  $8 at the door.

4.  Monday, Dec. 16

What:  Latin Dance

Where:  The Kimmel Center, 300 S. Broad St., Phila., PA 19102

Time:  8 PM to 11 PM

Admission:  FREE
