Hello Fellow Dancers,

Drexel Salsa will have its Winter Social this Friday, March 6. See Event #3 below for details.

Salsa and bachata classes with Drexel Salsa on Wednesday, March 4 (6 PM to 8 PM), will be at Drexel's Main Building (3141 Chestnut Street).

Beginner and intermediate bachata lessons with Penn Social Dance on Thursday, March 5 (7 PM to 9 PM) will be at Cafe 58, Irvine Hall (3401 Spruce Street).

1. Wednesday, March 4

What: West Coast Swing Dance hosted by UCSwing

Where: St. Mary's Church Parish Hall, 3916 Locust Walk, Penn Campus

Time: Lesson from 8:30 PM to 9:15 PM; social dancing from 9:15 PM to 11 PM

Admission: $5 with a student ID; $7 for everyone else; FREE for first timers

2. Thursday, March 5

What: Bachata Thursdays (21+)

Where: Lucha Cartel, 207 Chestnut St., Philadelphia, PA 19106

Time: 10 PM to 2 AM

Admission: $7

3. Friday, March 6

What: Latin Dance Social hosted by Drexel Salsa

Where: 3141 Chestnut St., Philadelphia, PA 19104

Time: 9 PM to 1:30 AM

Admission: $5 with a student ID; $10 for everyone else.

4. Friday, March 6

What: Latin Dance - mainly salsa

Where: West Philly Ballroom & Latin Dance, 4520 Baltimore Ave., Phila.

Time: 8:30 PM to 12:30 AM (Mini lessons plus social dancing)

Admission: $12. No partner needed. No experience necessary.

If you have a PennCard, you can take Penn Transit (215-898-RIDE/7433). You could also take SEPTA's 34 trolley.
