We have 5 social dances in University City this week.  Check them out!

1.  Wednesday, Sept. 4

What:  West Coast Swing Dance hosted by UCSwing

Where:  St. Mary's Church Parish Hall, 3916 Locust Walk, Penn Campus

Time:  Lesson from 8:30 PM to 9:15 PM; social dancing from 9:15 PM to 11 PM

Admission:  FREE for students (tonight only) and first-timers; $7 for everyone else

2.  Thursday, Sept. 5

What:  Latin Night

Where:  The Bank, 3750 Lancaster Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19104

Time:  5:30 PM to 7:30 PM

Admission:  FREE

3.  Friday, Sept. 6

What:  Salsa & Bachata on the Patio

Where:  City Tap University City, 3925 Walnut St, Philadelphia, PA 19104

Time:  7 PM to 10 PM

Admission:  FREE

4.  Friday, Sept. 6

What:  Salsa Party

Where:  West Philly Ballroom & Latin Dance, 4520 Baltimore Ave., Phila.

Time:  8:30 PM to 12:30 AM (Mini-lessons plus social dancing)

Admission:  $12.  No partner or experience necessary.

If you have a PennCard, you can take Penn Transit (215-898-RIDE/7433).  You could also take SEPTA's 34 trolley.

5.  Friday, Sept. 6 to Sunday, Sept. 8

What:  Swing Dance hosted by Philly Fish Fry

Where:  Houston Hall, 3417 Spruce Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104

6.  Sunday, Sept. 8

What:  Bachata & Salsa at The Rocky Steps

Where:  2600 Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Philadelphia, PA 19130
Time:  6 PM to 8 PM
