Hi everyone!
I am new to PIV lab and am trying to extract only the vectors from my experiment. For example, is it possible to have an export that is just the vectors overlayed onto a blank background instead of the original video for easier analysis?
Thank you!

Hi, you could set the colormap to gray-scale and then plot a derivative. Set the colormap limits to a very high or very low value to get a completely black or white background.

Hello,
I am also trying to fade out my image (which ive attached) to be left with just the vector field.
I tried what was mentioned but there was no change to my image. I chose gray scale in the "modify plot appearance" taskbar, then changed the colormap limits in the "derive parameter" task bar.
Am i doing this wrong?
Thank you, Caesar
