A MUST SEE! PLEASE
DON'T
MISS THIS! On TBN this Sunday 2/23/14 at 10pm (check your local listings) they
are scheduled to
show the movie/dvd of “If I Perish,” the true story of how Jesus
shepherded a little Korean Christian lady through incredible
persecution and suffering, doing miracles daily to keep her and
preserve her. THIS IS A FAITH BUILDER! If you ever doubted
Father's
ability and faithfulness to take care of His own in horrible
circumstances, you should see this to see how faithful He is to
miraculously care for His own when they are in the Valley of the
Shadow of Death. You may want to tape this since the movie/dvd
is no
longer available. If you are able to tape it in video, dvd, mp3 format and it is legal, I would like to buy a copy.
IF I PERISH, Ahn Ei Sook, autobiobraphy
Available at http://www.alibris.com/If-I-Perish-Esther-Ahn-Kim/book/3100980 - - or http://www.christianbook.com/if-i-perish-esther-kim/9780802430793/pd/430793
“Ahn E. Sook stood alone among thousands of kneeling people. Her bold defiance of the tyrannical demand to bow to pagan Japanese shrines condemned her to a living death in the filth and degradation of a Japanese prison. This brave woman remained faithful to Christ in the face of brutality, oppression, and ruthlessness of her captors. The story of how she won many of her fellow prisoners to Christ in the most deplorable conditions is an inspiration to all.”
Another review“ESTHER AHN KIM was a Korean Christian who spent six years (1939-1945) in Japanese prisons during WWII as a result of her faith. As she prepared to be martyred, Miss Ahn's courageous activities in prison brought the light of the Gospel to many, and resulted in a reduction of the brutal torture Christians were subjected to. After her release she was married to Don Kim, and the couple toured Europe and the United States speaking of God's sustaining power during those harrowing years. She is author of If I Perish. Her story was published in Korea and Japan, where it became a national sensation, reaching number three on the all-time religious bestseller list.”
BLESS YOU PRISON – “The true story of Nicoleta Valery Grossu's amazing survival in a Romanian Communist prison camp and how faith in the Lord strengthened her.” I got to watch it on TBN today (2/22) and was greatly moved. She was tortured and imprisoned from '49-'53. If Corrie Ten Boom's “The Hiding Place” was inspiring, then you should see this to see how Jesus' Father enabled her to bless those who cursed her, to pray for those who despitefully misused her (Lk 6:27-38), to return good for evil done (Rom 12:17-21) and to truly LOVE her enemies under conditions that would kill most of us. It is an amazing witness as to how Father does not allow us to be tried above that which we are able, but with the trial, makes and end to it and a way out of it (1 Cor 10:13).

“It was an experience unspeakably brutal...
To be
taken away from home and thrown in jail without any trial.
To be
interrogated night after night, having to spend your days in a
cell.
To be tortured to give away innocent people.
To have the
courage to say what you think no matter the consequences.
To see
how a fellow inmate swaps sides and becomes your worst enemy.
Not
to be able to help your beloved ones imprisoned along with you.
You
can betray. You can die. Or you can find God.
Nicoleta Valery
Grossu found God in the communist prisons.
Blessed be thy name,
prison! This is the story of her life.”
26 Reasons Father Let's His Children Suffer In This World
I have identified 26 reasons in the Bible why the Most High Father lets His own children suffer in this world. All 26 reasons can be seen at http://biblicalmaturity.yuku.com/topic/108/Does-Jesus-Allow-Good-Innocent-Godly-Suffer-2012#.UwkzdV67gSM - - - Here are reasons #15 - # 17.
++++++++++++++++++++++REASON #15. So that we will learn in this present world that human nature, our natural bodies and minds, and the evil spirits working in people hated and killed Jesus. So that we will learn that they will hate and try to kill the Jesus in us, so that we can learn that just as Jesus was able to endure and come out of the suffering with resurrection victory, Father will enable us to endure and come out of the suffering with His resurrection victory, bringing glory to Father in Heaven and on earth.
***[Lk. 6: 22 Blessed [are] you when men shall hate you, and when they shall cut you off, and when they shall reproach [you] and shall cast out your name as evil, for the sake of the Son of man. 23 Rejoice in that day and leap for joy. For behold, your reward [is] great in Heaven. For so their fathers did according to these things to the prophets.
***John 15:19 "If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you."
***For what glory is it if, when you sin, you patiently endure beating? But if, when you do well, you patiently endure suffering, this is commendable with God. . . . 12 Beloved, don’t be astonished at the fiery trial which has come upon you, to test you, as though a strange thing happened to you. 13 But because you are partakers of Christ’s sufferings, rejoice; that at the revelation of his glory you also may rejoice with exceeding joy. 14 If you are insulted for the name of Christ, you are blessed; because the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you. On their part he is blasphemed, but on your part he is glorified. . . . . 16 But if one of you suffers for being a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God in this matter. 1 Peter 2:19-21; 4:12-16
++++++++++++++++++++++REASON #16. So that we can learn to end at us the cycle of some of the hate and violence in our lives, we being what Martin Luther King Jr. called "shock absorbers" of the evil around us, so that it will stop at us and we will learn not to pass the evil on. He has called us to turn the cheek, go the second mile and bless and pray for those who curse and abuse us, not to continue and pass on the evil by hitting back etc.
*** [Luke 6: 27* But I say to you who hear: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, 28 bless those who curse you, and pray for those who despitefully use you. 29* And to him who strikes you on the [one] cheek, also offer the other. And to him who takes away your garment, do not forbid your tunic also. 30 Give to everyone who asks of you, and from him who takes away your goods, do not ask [them] again. 31 And as you desire that men should do to you, you do also to them likewise. 32 For if you love those who love you, what thanks do you have? For sinners also love those who love them. 33 And if you do good to those who do good to you, what thanks do you have? For sinners also do the same. 34 And if you lend [to those] of whom you hope to receive, what thanks do you have? For sinners also lend to sinners, to receive as much again. 35 But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing [in return]. And your reward shall be great, and you shall be the sons of the Highest. For He is kind to the unthankful and [to] the evil. 36 Therefore be merciful, even as your Father is merciful. Matt. 5;
***Romans 12: 14 Bless those who persecute you; bless, and do not curse. . . . 17* Repay no one evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men. 18 If [it is] possible, as far as [is] in you, seeking peace with all men. 19* not avenging yourselves, beloved, but giving place to wrath; for it is written, "Vengeance [is] Mine, I will repay, says [the] Lord." 20 Therefore if your enemy hungers, feed him. If he thirsts, give him drink. For [in so] doing you shall heap coals of fire on his head. 21* Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.;
***1 Cor. 6: 7 Indeed then there is already a failure with you all, that you have lawsuits with yourselves. Why not instead be wronged? Why not instead be defrauded? 8 But you do wrong and defraud, and these things to brothers.
