Psalm 42, Me, Life Today & Battling Depression

All day for the last several days it has been a daily battle against depression, as I realize how Obamacare will shorten my life and the lives of so many other seniors, as I see America's moral collapse under Obama and the Obamacrats, and as I see the sentiments on the rise for licentiousness and sexual immorality and against the Bible, Jesus and what used to be America's Judeo-Christian culture. As one of my senior friends said recently, that all day she is inexplicably depressed with feelings that make her think she is going to just sit down and cry, cry and cry in despair. I don't dare take the full dose of my anti-depressant because after taking the second dose I'm not capable of doing much more than just sitting, like a bump on a log, and watching TV aimlessly . So I call on the Lord and pray this prayer I derived from Psalm 42:
42 As the deer pants for the water brooks,
    so my soul pants after You, God.
2 My soul thirsts for You, God, for the You living God.
    When shall I come and appear before You, God?
3 My tears have been my food day and night,
    while they continually ask me, “Where is your God?”
4 These things I remember, and pour out my soul within me,
    how I used to go with the crowd, and led them to gatherings of God’s people,
    with the voice of joy and praise, a multitude of us keeping a holy day.
5 Why are you in despair, my soul?
    Why are you disturbed within me?
Hope in God!
    For I shall still praise Him for the saving help of His presence.
6 My God, my soul is in despair within me.
    Therefore I remember You from the land of my childhood,
    from the heights of Mt Helix, from the foothills.
7 Deep calls to deep at the noise of Your waterfalls.
    All Your waves and Your billows have swept over me.

8 Yahweh will command His loving kindness in the daytime.
    In the night His song shall be with me:
    a prayer to the God of my life.
9 I will ask God, my Rock, “Why have you forgotten me?
    Why do I go mourning because of the oppression of Obama and His Obamacrats?”
10 As with a sword in my bones, Obama and His Obamacrats reproach me,
    while they mock me, continually asking me, “Where is your God?”
11 Why are you in despair, my soul?
    Why are you disturbed within me?
Hope in God! For I shall still praise Him,
    the saving help of my countenance, and my God.

I pray for the brave faith of the Hebrews 11 heroes, of the martyred saints, because
apart from Jesus my future, the future of my children and grandchildren appears to
dark and darkening. It's a temptation to regret that my children and grandchildren will
not know the peace and prosperity that I grew up in, that there will be so much suffering ahead in their future, so I have to cast them on Jesus and trust them to His care for I know He Loves them far more than I ever could on my own. A comfort is the fact that all of this will result in me going to Heaven to be with Jesus sooner than I expected. I hope my children and grandchildren will join me there.

Those who Love and obey Jesus will go down nonviolently under the onslaught of the unbelievers as they destroy the America of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution, but many of those who don't know Jesus will not quietly and nonviolently take the loss of their freedoms, their work, and their property. The violent mass attacks on others will increase, especially as retired Marines, SEALS, military snipers, bomb makers and law enforcement agents suffer loss. The violently inclined will use the internet and library information to make bombs and poisons. The American patriots, especially the keepers of the Loyalty Oaths will not give up their freedoms without a fight, even if their struggle is doomed.

For God, the Father in Heaven who is a consuming fire, so unselfishly and compassionately loved humans that He sent His only Son who was miraculously born of Mary to meet the requirements of justice and die in our place to take on Himself the judgment we deserve for our sins, so that if we believe Him and rely on Him to make us right with Father and save us from all that makes us incompatible with Father, He makes us compatible with Father so we can live with Him forever in His Love, liberating Truth, enlightening Light and everlasting Life.
