May Joy and Christmas Love Be Yours This Season

May your HOME be warm,

Your HOLIDAYS be grand,

& may your HEART be

held gently in JESUS' hands!

This is my prayer for you and all your loved ones this Christmas season. Thanks for your friendship and prayers. I thank God for you, your friendship and fellowship during this season of Thanksgiving and Christmas Love and giving. The Lord has used you to help me through my Valley of the Shadow and I know it would have been a very different journey without you, your friendship and fellowship. I pray that Father may richly bless you and yours with His rich joyous Love. I am so very thankful that Jesus is shepherding me through my Valley of the Shadow of Divorce during this time of joyful celebration of the Love of God in Christ Jesus. His rod and His staff they comfort me. It is so good to be in His hands.

Consider what Christmas meant to Mary. Mary’s Praise

Luke 1:46 And Mary said:

My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord,

47  and my spirit rejoices in God, my Savior,

48 for He has looked on the humble estate of His servant.
For behold, from now on all generations will call me blessed; 49 because the Mighty One has done great things for me,
and holy is His Name.

50 “And His mercy is upon generation after generation toward those who fear Him.

51 He has done a mighty deed with His arm;
He has scattered the proud because of the thoughts of their hearts;

52 brought down rulers from their thrones,
raised up the humble,

53 He has filled the hungry with good things,  and the rich He has sent away empty.

54 He has kept the promise He made to our ancestors,
and has come to the help of His servant Israel.

55 As He spoke to our fathers,
To Abraham and his descendants forever.”

2:7 And she gave birth to her firstborn son and wrapped him in swaddling cloths and laid him in a manger, because there was no place for them in the inn. . . . 10 And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people; 11 for today in the city of David there has been born for you a Savior, who is Messiah the Lord. . . 13 Suddenly there was a multitude of the heavenly host with the angel, praising God and saying: 14 “In the highest heaven, glory to God! And on earth, peace among people of good will with whom He is pleased!”

May we all thank and praise Father for His unsurpassed Gift of Love!

I thank God for Christmas and Thanksgiving! Jesus' body dies at sunset in the settling darkness when all hope seemed to be lost. Jesus was born in the darkness of a Bethlehem night when Mary and Joseph may have been tempted to feel so alone in the universe. But the joy and glory of Easter, of seeing the Son of God grow from toddlerhood to manhood followed the times of darkness and apparent hopelessness. Even so as America last November bowed at the altar of sexual immorality, the slaughter of babies in the womb, the secularization of America, the marginalizing of Christians and their faith, the betrayal of Israel and Poland, the mass media exaltation of amorality and Islam and atheism, we have the Hope of the Ages that Mary stated so very well:

"My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord, 47  and my spirit rejoices in God, my Savior, 48 for He has looked on the humble estate of" His servants. "For behold, from now on all generations will call" us "blessed; 49 because the Mighty One has done great things for" us,"and holy is His Name. 50 And His mercy is upon generation after generation toward those who fear Him.

51 He has done a mighty deed with His arm; He has scattered the proud because of the thoughts of their hearts; 52 brought down rulers from their thrones, raised up the humble,

53 He has filled the hungry with good things, . . ." Luke 2

"13 Jesus said, . . . 14 But whoever drinks from the water that I will give him will never get thirsty again—ever! In fact, the water I will give him will become a well of water springing up within him for eternal Life.”

May we go forth rejoicing like the shepherd, telling all who we can of all that we have heard and seen of our amazingly wonderful King and Saviour, Jesus Christ of Heaven and Bethlehem!!!!!!!!

For God, the Father in Heaven who is a consuming fire, so unselfishly and compassionately loved humans that He sent His only Son who was miraculously born of Mary to meet the requirements of justice and die in our place to take on Himself the judgment we deserve for our sins, so that if we believe Him and rely on Him to make us right with Father and save us from all that makes us incompatible with Father, He makes us compatible with Father so we can live with Him forever in His Love, liberating Truth, enlightening Light and everlasting Life.
