Course Review: ArtStudio 60

Quarter:  Fall, Winter, Spring

Comments:   I really liked the opportunity to be creative in this class.  It was a nice break from problem set classes.  There are differing opinions about Edmark's personality.  He is definitely a picky art teacher and expects well thought-out projects.  But he grew on me by the end of the quarter.  Advice:  Stay on top of the assignments & get the first set of projects finished earlier than recommended on the syllabus.  The time commitment for assignments increases as the quarter progresses.  GET TO KNOW THE OTHER STUDENTS IN YOUR CLASS!!!  You will be in a class with grad students whose projects are AMAZING.  These are the people you want to talk to about product design!  And the other undergrads will be your friends in the rest of your PD classes.  Get to know them!
